My wife and I were in the market for a closet organizing system for our master bedroom closet to replace the cheap stuff that our builder had installed four years earlier. In our search we happened... upon STOR-X Organizing Systems, Kelowna.We reached out to them and one of the owners, Shelley, called us back promptly. She asked us a few questions and then suggested she come out to our home to take some measurements, present some ideas and come up with a quote.We arranged a time for this visit and Shelley was right on schedule. She discussed our needs, took some measurements and then said she'd develop some plans using their computerized 3D design system and get back to us with potential designs and quotes.In no time the information was e-mailed to us along with pricing details. We were having a hard time making up our minds so, without any pressure, Shelley suggested that we attend to their show room to see their products first hand.The STOR-X showroom was very well laid out and gave you a real sense of the quality and range of products they offered. Indeed, they have something to facilitate organization in every room of a person's house, including the garage.Shelley exhibited a lot of patience as we mulled over our choices. Finally, we made a decision and an install date was set up.Their installer, Brad, attended our home along with his son and began the install process. Brad was the consummate professional, taking great care and pride in his work. I later learned that Brad was a journeyman carpenter who used to build houses but given he was later in his career he welcomed the change to working indoors. He said that Shelley and her husband Allan were awesome to work for and that came as no surprise.We love our STOR-X closet organizer and highly recommend this company. We've used Stor-X twice now, once in 2015 for a custom closet and shelving in our bathroom, and another just this past month. We are so happy with our new media unit, custom cabinet and custom... shelving/drawers in the weird nook of our son's room. From consultation to complete installation, it was about a month. Penny and Paul were great to work with. During the consultation, they suggested adding a side cabinet in our living area using the same materials and color as the media unit, and it was a really great improvement. My favourite part is they just come in one day, get everything done, load everything out, and leave the place looking amazing. With small kids around, we don't have time to measure, decide which furniture fits, go pick up stuff from the store, and then install the stuff over the course of a few frustrating days or weeks. It's worth every dollar to have their custom service and quick installation.read more
