We’re proud to still make STOR-X® product in our own factory in Richmond, BC, which we’ve used since our founding in 1989.

We source all of our material from North American manufacturers, and only use durable, easy to clean materials that are resistant to cracking, chipping, staining, and warping. Our profile door options are made in Canada out of three-dimensional laminate material. All of our materials are CARB 2 compliant.

“Custom” means we start your project from scratch every time—creating endless possibilities to build a storage solution that is uniquely yours. Nothing is premade, and we use screen to machine technology. This means we send the design your designer has created to our machines, which then cut each individual part based on your design.

Since composite board (the material we use to make our product) is a by-product of lumber processing, STOR-X® avoids over production and waste by using these recycled materials. And because we custom cut our product, we have very few offcuts. This means less waste that we need to recycle.

We are also a Lean Manufacturing facility, with a focus on Continuous Improvement in all of our business practices; a philosophy that adds maximum value with minimum waste.

Other planet-friendly practices include recycling all recyclable materials, and wrapping our product in recyclable cardboard for shipping and removing for recycling after installation.

Because our product is custom-made, we do not accept returns. However, if there is an issue, you can always reach out and we will do our best to resolve it.

There is no additional cost for installation. It’s part of the STOR-X® experience and is included in the overall cost.

Our product is easy to clean. Just wipe away dust with warm water on a damp cloth and dry the surface. Do not allow liquids to sit on the product for long because it can cause water damage that is not covered under warranty.

For an additional cost, our franchisees can help you remove existing product from your home, though our team do not repaint the space. Talk to your local representative to learn more.

Because our product is completely custom-made, the price varies depending on the type of space, colour, height, width, depth, room shape, accessories, features, drawers, doors, and any customizations you decide on. The best way to get an idea of the likely cost is to speak with one of our designers.

You can explain what you are looking for so they can give you a better idea of how much it might cost. We will try to develop a design that works within your budget wherever possible.
